JUDICIARY

1            Government of India have agreed to the proposal for creation of 2 new posts of permanent Judges and 4 posts of Additional Judges, in addition to the existing approved strength of 16 Judges ( 15 permanent + 1 additional ) for Orissa High Court. Keeping in view the above enhancement of the Judgeship in the Hon’ble Court, expeditious steps have been taken for extending infrastructural facilities. As a result, the 4^th Floor of the 2^nd extension building has been completed and the construction work of  4 Court Rooms is  in progress.

2          The construction of Civil Court building at Rourkela has been completed at the cost of Rs. 2,50,000,00/-. Government have also decided for construction of the J.M.F.C. Court building at Basudevpur.
