     1      The present fleet of vehicles of Orissa Police consist of the following

Heavy Vehicle.

Medium Vehicle.

Light Vehicle.

Motor Cycle.

                    To repair and maintains these vehicles, there are one Central workshop at Cuttack, two range workshops at Sambalpur and Berhampur, two regional workshops at Rourkela and Koraput and 17 miniature workshops at different Battalion Headquarters and the Districts. During the year 2005, the 57,247 major and 79,401 minor repair works were undertaken. The 47 unserviceable vehicles, different makes, were auctioned and Rs.22,07.783/- was as sale-proceeds.

2 ORISSA STATE POLICE HOUSING AND WELFARE CORPORATION :

           The Orissa State Police Housing and Welfare Corporation Ltd. was incorporated as a Company on 24^th May 1980. The main objectives of the Corporation are :

i)   Construction of residential and non-residential buildings for the Government of Orissa (Primarily for police ) ,the Government of India and the quesi-Government organizations.

ii)               Repairs, maintenance, modifications and renovation of the roads, buildings and Civil structures of the same organizations.



          During the year 2005, the Corporation completed the constructions and handed over the following buildings.
